we spent the past week in Gatlinburg with Omi and Opa and had so much fun!

our cabin was amazing!!

just before 3pm today, Lucas will turn 4! We’re going to go to Chuck E Cheese (his wish) for dinner and then head to Rowan’s big Kindergarten kick-off at Slugger Field and the Bats game. We’ll post pics of the birthday festivities soon.

I remember 4 years ago today SO vividly – what an amazing day! i can’t believe the little guy is four…

My mom and dad and Tavis’ mom and dad are in Alaska together right now for a cruise. check out some of the places they’ve been! with my love of the cold and icy, desolate landscapes, i am SO jealous!

Rowan’s a proud new two-wheel rider! taylor helped him out on his first ride back in June and then just a couple of weeks ago, at mamaw’s house, he hopped on her two-wheeler and took off!

A couple of nights before the grandparents left for Alaska, all 8 of us went to the Bats game.
Lucas provided the entertainment (with a helping hand from Mamaw)…

Rowan’s First Race – 3K
